So I got this letter in the mail that says time to renew your license, yada yada... oh and btw if you have any fines, court orders etc, etc, they have to be paid in full prior to us renewing your license. Now I don't recall receiving this letter the last time I renewed my license, and I was getting all bent out of shape thinking OMG, did I get some traffic fines that I dont' know about, like runnign a red light, or speeding, you know the ones they take a picture of. If I did will I have enough to renew my license? So I go down at lunch time today all prepared to wait in a long line up, brought my book. I no sooner sit down and BOING, they call my number. I get to the counter and he asks for 2 peices of ID, oh no, I hope I have 2 cuz I recently took my birth certificate out to put with our passports . YIPES, yep I had two. He punches it all in and says that's $75 bux to renew for 5 years. Phew so I have no outstanding fines or the like.

two weeks from today, we will be on the plane headed for ohio .

DOH, I didn't get pictures of the our final visit with Cathy & the girls , and I didn't get pictures at mom's this weekend.  All I did was sleep and read.  Don't know what was up with all the sleeping .

We is excited now.  2 weeks...... gotta finalize things, what to pack, borrow suitcase, party at Kim's parents this weekend.  Should phone Paul to make sure of the date we will get there.  Don't know yet what day we will leave here.

WOOT, I thought I lost my usb cord for my ipod, I tore the house appart looking for it so that I could charge it up.  Alas could not find it anywhere.  so I looked up to see how much one would cost me.  45 bux .  Then I was packing things to do at mom's when low and behold I came across my usb cord, WOOT .

Kim had been complaining all week 'where have all the extra strength tylenol gone?'.  So, he ended up buying a whole new package.  At bingo in Kamloops yesterday, I say to kim 'what's that' while pointing to the bingo bag.  LOL, yep there was the bottle of tylenol.  He must have put it in there last weekend .

'it's friday'.  Yah.

2 more weeks and we will be heading to Vancouver for our flight to ohio .  I am now starting to feel the excitement.

We have been talking about packing, what to take, etc.  Will be borrowing a suitcase from Ernie & Jean.  Next weekend we are supposed to be having a BBQ at their place for her birthday.  It's her 80th .

This weekend we are going to mom's on saturday for the night .  We talked about possibly going to Calgary, but it's not long enough , and staying at Mom's for 2 nights was iffy.  Oh well.

Last night was Kim's last shift at the old walmart.  Tonight is his stat, so he won't be working.

It feels like 2 weeks have passed since last weekend. And, I sure, that this next two weeks are going to be busy busy, getting ready to leave, figuring out what to take, etc.  I do have a list of things to do at work prior to my vacation time.

eventful weekend

saturday night - had to take mary to the hospital, I didn't get home till about 1230 that night.

sunday - kim decided we should go play bingo in kamloops - didn't get home till about 1230

monday -around 7 am Kim swore he heard a bear walk thru our trailer park, he said he could hear some loud growling traveling on the road below us, and it went thru, all the dogs would bark.  My car wouldn't start when I went to go see Mary. This night I didn't sleep too good, could hear all the sounds and they kept waking me up,

tuesday - I called in sick and rested, and we took my car to the shop.  I really screwed meself here.  Had I taken it in when it first didn't start, it probably would not have been as costly.  Anyways the first was it was the alternator - at a cost of about 400 bux, then after they started to work on it they discovered a short which caused my battery to die, and make the alternator over work itself.  So they changed the battery & fixed the short and it is working fine.  So it cost me 185 bux.  Now I can sit back and slap meself for not taking it in when it first died .

2nd adjustment

seems to have gone better than the first.  I don't feel as much pain as after the first, but we shall see.  Plus they gave me some liguid pain medication to rub on the sore spots if need be .

I know it's probably going to be painful in the beginning cuz they have to retrain which means that the old scar tissue is being broken up and making way for new tissue.  So there is some inflamation and pain to be expected.

That said, I am pleasantly surprised at the treatments.  I envisioned being on a table with him twisting me this way and that and hearing loud cracks as me made my bones get back into shape.

I like the electronic adjustment thingy.
